Easy WiFi
Easy WiFi accesses a database of free WiFi hotspots around the world. With this app, you can check for hotspots around the world and automatically connect to the best available quality hotspot when you are in range. The service currently has over 160,000 hotspots and tracks several hundred thousand more – only the best quality ones are added to the database. You can add any commercial WiFi authentication credentials you have and the app will automatically discover and connect you with no prompts at all.
Each WiFi hotspot is denoted by a “pin” on a local map based on your current location (which is automatically discovered). The pins are color-coded to represent Easy WiFi’s knowledge about the quality of each hotspot. Blue pins donate hotspots that have been known to work, or represent hotspots that you have added personally. Amber pins represent hotspots on the network, but which may not work, and so on. Overall, this is a fantastic tool for travelers.
