Compass
Compass is one of the more colorful and interesting Droid apps. It comes with a basic compass feature as well as location display and geo-tagging capabilities. Advanced compass features include finding the the true North, calibration, and noise filters. You can attach notes to various readouts, letting you track back and reconstruct entire routes in case you ever need to. The accuracy is very good, but your mileage may vary depending on your location – some users have found a few problems, but the majority have been entirely satisfied.

The apps interface and design are a little on the louder side. The compass is laid out on a wooden background, offering a more traditional feel. But the readouts are in digital green, and the rest of the app has a very industrial feel to it. Be that as it may, the readouts are quite easy to read except in bright sunlight, when the light-on-dark text is a little difficult to read. The number of settings you can play with and the overall features of the app make it an excellent app for those looking for compass and other geo-location capabilities on the Droid.
