SportsTap is a comprehensive sporting News and score tracking application for the Verizon Droid. One of the more useful Droid apps, SportsTap presents scores and statistics across MLB, NFL, Nascar, NBA, NHL, and a whole host of other series. You can also follow local teams wherever you’re located. SportsTap is equally popular on the iPhone and comes with a very functional web app if you’re inclined to access its features that way.
SportsTap notifications are fully integrated into Android and can be customized so that you only get them when you want them. Sports and series can be categorized on a grid and News and notifications appear as little numbered icons. The interface is very slick and lets you see a whole host of numbers and statistics without appearing too cluttered. SportsTap is a must-have for any sports fanatic and the casual sports fan will love the customizability and local features.
