StudyDroid flashcards
If you’re taking your SATs/GREs, or know someone who is planning to, or you’re simply looking to improve your vocabulary, this is the right app for you. It lets you create your own Flash cards and also lets you import thousands of member created ones from StudyDroid.com. Flash cards work very well with the touchscreen and this app is a pleasure to use. The interface is a little bare-bones, but goes well with the text-oriented nature of the app.
There are a few other flash cards apps on the Android Market today, but none have the ability to import this large a variety of flash cards. More are being created everyday. It also supports other languages and fonts (any that are supported on Android), so you can use it to learn pretty exotic languages. Since you can create your very own flash cards with this app, the range of things that you can put this app to use it extremely large. For instance, if you’re starting a new job with its own jargon and vocabulary, you can create your cards with these and ramp up much faster than you would have without this app.
