Facebook for Android
The official “Facebook for Android” app is the real deal, and was introduced into an Android Market that was already flooded with other Facebook apps. Fortunately, this Droid app covers all the bases very well and once you install it, you won’t be looking at other facebook apps in the near future. The app comes with full widget support, so you can access and send updates right from your Droid homescreen. The interface is very similar to the Facebook webpage itself and anybody who’s used the Facebook website will feel right at home on this Droid app.
Features include receiving and sending updates, see your friends’ walls, updates, and profiles, upload photos, and pass links to each other. You can join and track groups as well. In other words, you can pretty much do everything that you can do on the website itself – and it’s all done in a clean and simple interface that’s a pleasure to use. An excellent Droid app that should sit in every Droid owners app portfolio.
