Mileage for the Droid helps you track your vehicles mileage, costs, and efficiency statistics right from your smartphone. It’s particularly useful because you can add data at the gas station as you fill up your car. You can save all your fill-ups (and mark partial fill-ups as such), and review a history of your fill ups. You can add and track statistics for separate vehicles. The best part is the ability to export or import your data seamlessly.
Each time you add fuel to your car, you can specify the cost per gallon and the number of gallons going in. The history screen will then show every fill along with the data plus the miles per gallon that you achieved since that fill-up. The statistics screen will show you your average distance between fill-ups, average fuel economy, fuel prices, and your total costs over the specified period. Overall, this is a great app to help cut fuel costs and manage a budget for each vehicle in the family.
