Newsy
Newsy is a comprehensive News application for your Droid. This app combines video and text from multiple News sources and puts it all in context to help you quickly assimilate News stories on your Droid. Newsy has real News anchors who summarize and aggregate multiple News sources to produce short highly informative clips that you can soak-up in the middle of a busy day. The anchors add significant value over other dumb aggregator apps.
The quality of the video is very high, and the app buffers videos well over both the cellular and WiFi networks. There is no significant lags or delays unless you are on a very crowded WiFi network. The one drawback of the app is the lack of selectable references in the News stories. There is no way to go from a Newsy clip to the main NY Times article mentioned in the clip. Otherwise, this is a fantastic and clever Droid app.
