. An app designed by CBS, TV.com for the Droid brings a healthy collection of streaming television shows (many full length) and behind the scenes clips. The app is completely free and doesn’t require a subscription or payment of any kind to get the goodies. You will find advertising before each clip. There are quite a few full-length episodes, but not enough to keep everyone happy (we’ll have to wait for the Hulu app for that). If you enjoy and already watch the shows that do have full-length episodes on this app, you’ll love it. The only way to find out is to install and see if your shows are coming up.
You can also subscribe to News and headlines regarding shows from within this app. Streaming videos over 3G is not always an option, and you may have to get a Wi-Fi connection to see full-length clips, which often defeats the purpose of the app since most places with a Wi-Fi connection also probably have a computer on which to watch these same clips. A paid version with full episodes and 3G streaming would go a long way in making this app complete, but for now we’ll have to live the drawbacks of this free version.
