. Mint.com has finally released an app for Android, and it’s very, very good. As you may know, Mint is an online suit of services to help you manage your finances. It handles everything from credit cards to bank accounts, and you can find crowdsourced deals, track your spending, manage complete household budgets and much more. The app presents a wonderful interface into all of this. It’s secured by a 4-digit pin lock so that your banking and card details aren’t lost if you Droid is stolen or lost. Setting up a new account or managing an existing one is very easy to do.
Mint.com for your Droid also comes with sophisticated widgets that let you see your latest transactions on any of the cards or accounts you’ve tied to your Mint account. All of this is wrapped in an awesome and easy-to-use interface. The menus and graphics have received a lot of attention and this is an app that you’ll feel like returning to again and again. Overall, an excellent Droid app that was well worth the wait.
