Steamy Window
First popularized on another major smartphone, this concept is a fun and novel game that showcases the innovation and creativity of the app ecosystem. Steamy Window simulates a fog or steam covered window (like a mirror after a shower) on which you can write or draw by clearing away the steam on select regions. The concept is endlessly entertaining and fun. This Droid app lets you blow into your Droid’s microphone to simulate adding steam on the screen. You can also see water drops scurrying over the surface as they respond to gravity and the wind.
The app’s settings let you change the behavior of droplets on the screen as well as the sensitivity of steam formation to the blowing sounds you create. You can also change the background of the window, with various shapes and images appearing as you clear the steam with your fingers. You can draw arbitrary shapes and then blow to clear them and fill the window back up with steam. Overall, this is a fun Droid app, and a very clever concept.
